It's strange that after the IE was updated to the latest version, the address bar and the search bar aren't accessible to type in anything. Does anyone know how to resolve this? Thanks.

Try this:
1. Press ALT/V followed by ALT/T. This should bring up a list of available toolbars.
2. If Standard Buttons and Address Bar are there, select them.
