When I try to attach a file to an email, I get "IE cannot display the webpage" error?

When I browse and choose the file I want to attach, then click on the attach button, I get "IE cannot dislay the webpage". My internet connection is fine because I can browse other pages no problem. I even tried with a hotmail account and it did the same thing. I tried going into internet options and enabling "Navigate sub-frames across different domains". I'm using IE 7
