I have windows Xp as OS. When I open IE, the page opens with " internet explorer-hacked by mozi

Is my system infected with Virus?

But when I run Symentec anti virus and AVG anti virus, the result says no virus found.

How to remove this " hacked by mozilla" from IE?

Please advise; Thanks and regards.

Someone (or some piece of software) has modified the registry key that brands Internet Explorer (designed for use by ISPs, so you get "Internet Explorer by Your Service Provider).

You can change it by editing the registry as described at http://www.virtualplastic.net/html/logo_...

I'd recommend dumping Internet Explorer in favour of Firefox or Opera though.

your computer is infected with spyware. earlier this year i'm in the same situation like you do. you can remove those by using antispyware program. i recommend you ad-aware 2007. go here http://www.lavasoftusa.com/products/ad_a...

be sure to update it first before scanning.
