I have dial-up web accelerator which works with IE but not Netscape.What to do?

I have IE 6 and Netscape 8.1. The Web Accelerator detects Netscape and asks whether it should integrate with netscape. But whenever I click 'Yes' an error message appears saying that it cannot integrate with Netscape.

Most dialup accelerators are just localized proxy services that compress the data on the fly.

Check the proxy settings in IE and copy the proxy settings into Netscape.

Dial Up Accelerators are gimmicks targeted towards people who want "high speed" but can't get it due to where they live...all it does it increase your cache (which you can do manually) and compresses images and text (which you can tell you browser to do as well)...so if your paying for the "accelerator" I would be giving you good advice in cancelling the service and just using dial up normally without it...

As for the best browser for dial up...IE is gonna be the best suited...then Opera is next
Uninstall the Web accelerator program. Delete Cookies, Temp. Files and clear history in Internet Options. Restart or Reboot your computer to clean the clutter in your RAM.

Download the Accelerator and try it again.
