Where can I find a complete down-loadable version of IE explorer 6?

During a computer class exercise, my 8 year son formated his hard-drive and I have been trying to re-load everything but I can't find a IE program 6 that is down-loadable. He is using my old laptop with Windows 98 and it is not connected to the 'net and I've lost the drivers for the modem. Everywhere that I have looked - ZDnet, Microsoft, PC Computers, Download.com - link me to IE 7 which doesn't list that it works with Windows 98.

(NOTE: and yes, I know that I should have taught him not to delete files that he didn't know)
