I can't see Internet ads using IE or Firefox. How do I turn them back on?

Never thought I would ask that question but I have a need to see ads and can't ..

I have %26amp; use the Google toolbar but couldn't find any settings in it that would seem to impact web page ads. Pop-ups yes but not ads embedded in web pages.

I also recently installed the latest Windows service pack if that is possibly the culprit.

Regardless of whether I use IE or Firefox, Internet ads no longer show up while I am surfing the web.

I see the space where ads should be plus the words "Advertisement" above or below the blank space but no ads.

What setting do I change %26amp; where so that I can see ads?

There is a possibility that these ads are java scripted which means you will need to download a free version of java software in order to view these pages at: http://www.java.com/en/. You will also need to download a free Active X control plug-in at: http://www.repair-activex-errors.com/reg...

ActiveX is an outgrowth of two Microsoft technologies called OLE (Object Linking and Embedding) and COM (Component Object Model) which helps you view pages embedded in other pages. Hope this helps.

because this company you and me downloaded is spam and the want to get in your computer and mess you up
Check your cookie, internet and security settings in each browser, use tool/options. You may need to download java script and flash player also. Some anti-virus and anti-spyware software cause problems.

Firefox 2 has a "download photos automatically" option that must be checked to work.

Is the pop-up blocker turned off? Are you receiving the red x in a white box?
